Ocean Monkeys coiled leashes are designed for flat water paddling or for reducing drag in the water, as the coil will stay tight and remain on the board.
The difference
Coiled leashes keep the leash out of the water and reduce drag. Whereas straight leashes can sometimes drag in the water.
Is This The Leash For You?
If you’re a paddle boarder first then yes you probably want the coiled leash. The coiled leash will remain out of the water and reduce the change of stepping on it when preforming manoeuvres.
